I am a trained Vitreo-retina specialist from Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. Having done my residency at the same institute, I have gained deep hands-on experience in the last 5 years at one of the foremost ophthalmic institutions in India and globally. I have individually performed various vitreo-retinal surgeries like rhegmatogenous retinal detachments and complex recurrences (>50), scleral fixated intraocular lens implantations (>20), diabetic vitrectomies (>15), and assisted in ROP surgeries, complicated post-traumatic surgeries associated with IOFBs, and macular-hole surgeries among many others. I am proficient in procedures like intravitreal injections (>500), retinal laser photocoagulations (>500) and performing ophthalmic ultrasounds (>1000). I also have a keen interest in teaching residents and have taken several seminars as well.
