Successfully removed multiple minute stone particles from the eye of a construction worker
This is an interesting case wherein a construction worker had red eyes and was complaining about eye swelling. On examining the eye, we found multiple-minute stone particles, which we removed successfully.
Had this been delayed further, it might have resulted in serious eye conditions that could cause cornea damage, severe infection, or even permanent vision loss. He is still under treatment but his condition has improved.
Construction workers have one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Every day, they put their lives at risk by working with heavy machinery, climbing tall buildings, and dealing with hazardous materials. It is therefore important that they take all necessary precautions to stay safe on the job.
